About this part
A 6 mm aluminium backplate that carries the mounting load of the Aperture block instead of leaving it on the board.
Thermal pads bridge the reverse side of the memory packages, so the plate does useful work rather than only stiffening the card.
Bead-blasted and hard anodised in a matte black that does not gloss up under a side-panel light.
