About this part
The Axiom is a single-piece copper cold plate with 74 micro-fin channels milled at 0.18 mm, fed by a jet plate that puts flow over the centre of the die rather than the edge of the block.
The base is lapped flat and finished with a slight convexity to match the deflection of an AM5 heat spreader under mounting load. The top is milled acetal — opaque on purpose, so there is nothing in the assembly that yellows.
Mounting is a four-point spring-tensioned bracket that seats on the factory AM5 backplate. Torque is fixed by the standoffs; there is no way to over-tighten it.
